Senan O’Connor started producing DVD’s of the Irish Hillclimb and Sprint Championship in 2004. In 2007 while experimenting with online videos a compilation he made of his friend Simon McKinley in a Mk2 Escort went viral and undoubtably became Vantage Point Videos most popular motorsport upload with over 1.3 million views on the original, now very pixelated version. A remastered version which you can see here now has over 900,000 views itself.

Following the success of this video Senan has experimented with various formats of programme with the support of the Irish Hillclimb and Sprint Committee and Motorsport Ireland to raise the profile of this particular motorsport discipline in Ireland.
